colinmacdonald.org

Hi there, I'm Colin MacDonald. But, hey, you came here, so I assume you know that. What you might not know is that I'm not the same Colin MacDonald that owns colinmacdonald.com. He used Microsoft® Word® 9(® probably) to create a one line web page with a mailto: in it, so that's pretty much all you need to know to distinguish us. I used to own colinmacdonald.net, but I let it lapse, so I have no idea what you'll find there now. The treasure of the Sierra Madre, perhaps.

Navy Field Fixer

Unsupported: as of version 3-21a, NF-Fixer is unsupported. Here is the source code for 3-21a, which I release to the public domain.

This is a little application that I wrote to fix some problems with Navy Field. It allows you to:

It doesn't allow you to do anything that you're not supposed to do, and no, I'm not going to write you a keystroke macro generator or anything else that might be considered a cheat program. Here you go.

Current version:

Navy Field Snitch-shot

Enjoy taking screenshots of people and telling tales to teacher, but too lazy to drag and drop a file? Snitch-shot will take a jpeg screenshot, and upload it to an ftp server of your choice, presumably one which lets the image be viewed via html. It will create a link to the image, copy that link to the clipboard and optionally view the uploaded image and/or start a support ticket for you to complete your snitching.

Bannockburn 2003

If you're here looking for my Bannockburn 2003 report, you're just one click away. This is a new version with thumbnails and a more positive theme. Please don't link directly to the report, the location is subject to change (twice already). You'd be far better just linking to www.colinmacdonald.org

If you'd like to contact me, the best way is by email. I did have a clickable Javascipt email link, but spam spiders have started parsing these at last, and so that address is now an abode of evil. I guess from now on we're all going to have to use images:

[my email address as a graphic].

If you are a spam spider then, hey, no hard feelings. Here's plenty of email addresses for you.

You can often contact me as colin_cj_macdonald using either the Yahoo! Messenger protocol or MSN Messenger (specifically colin_cj_macdonald at hotmail dot com), and I am: [an image from Yahoo! that sometimes tells you if I'm online, although it often lies].

A lovely multi-protocol instant messenger client for Windows and X/linux is Pidgin. If you contact me by this method, please include a short personalised note in the Add Friend request to let me know that you're not a spammer.

Now, the traditional links to things that interest me but will probably bore you. The AFDB is quite useful though. Funny! I mean funny.

That's it. There's nothing more to see here. Shoo. Shoo.
